Citizen Resilience Manager
About this role
ECAS, a Brussels nonprofit that has helped citizens understand their EU rights for over 35 years, wants a Citizen Resilience Manager. You would run projects, write proposals and funding applications, track EU law and case law, produce reports and briefings, and keep relationships with EU institutions and civil society. It suits a generalist who can blend legal expertise, project coordination, and clear communication across very different audiences.
What makes this a Systems Thinker role?
Systems Thinkers see the whole chessboard. They understand how changing one piece affects everything else, and they design processes, strategies, and structures that account for complexity. If you naturally think in feedback loops, love mapping how things connect, and get frustrated when people solve symptoms instead of root causes, this role is for you.
