“So… what do you actually do?”
Ahhhh yes, this ol’ chestnut. The one that makes you sweat at parties. Your answer is 40 minutes long and needs a whiteboard. Sames. And ya know what? THAT’S FREAKIN AWESOME.
You just don’t realise it yet, because the world told you your POV is only valuable if you’re the top 1% expert. Or if you niche down (within an inch of your life, might I add).
To that I say…
Codswallops!!!
You’ve got a vault of things inside you that are desperately knocking to come out, and the fear of being judged is sitting on the lid.
I run a global business from a rock in the sea.
Population of my island: 191. Newsletter: 60,000+. Previous job title: Director of Miscellaneous (yes, really).
In my 20s I was a tour guide. I travelled through 65 countries taking thousands of people on tours, and at one point I was top 10 in the world. (And yes, I have juicy stories.)
I post about generalism, cob houses, bootstrapping, 95% of my experiments flopping, writing a book so bad I binned it and started again, and once a poem with the word “orgasmic” in it. And do you know what happened? LinkedIn made me a Top Voice for it.
I did not niche down. I published my spiky POV. And in today’s world, being known for your perspective is even more powerful than being known for one narrow thing
It’s very hard to be the top 1% at one thing. But you can become a category of one by being top 10 to 20% at three to five things. Nobody competes with your exact combination.

A few things I believe that the internet doesn’t.
You only feel cringe when you’re being inauthentic. Post what you know to be true and the ick has nowhere to live.
We’re not saving lives or going to space. We’re pushing publish on LinkedIn. Of course you can do this.
You cannot read your way to confidence. The only way to get it is to do. You must do.
The only way you fail is if you don’t publish. Hit publish and you’ve already won.
Every post is a tiny experiment. I’ve run thousands. Most of them flopped. Nobody cared. I’m still here.
Publishing is an energy transfer. A robot can’t do that part. That’s why it has to be you.
Wherever you land, every post nudges you one notch weirder.

Who’s teaching this?
Me, hi. I’m Milly. I’ve never been one thing in my life, and it’s the best career decision I never actually made.
I’m a human who refuses a lane. I build movements, tell stories, and make people feel seen, and I did all of it by saying what I think out loud and being unafraid to be a bit much. For 21 days, I’ll teach you the “bit much.”
So what actually is it?
It’s a hybrid: part email challenge, part course.
The challenge half is the daily engine. For 21 mornings an email lands with one idea, one real worked example from my own feed, and the day’s move offered in three sizes, so there is never a wrong answer. Then you publish one short thing wherever you already are: LinkedIn, Instagram, a newsletter, whatever suits you. Five minutes to read, ten to twenty to do. This is the part that gets you actually publishing instead of thinking about publishing.
The course half is the teaching underneath it. The frameworks and exercises I use to work out your throughline, name the oddly specific combination that is only you, and turn it into a line you’d put your name on. That material is yours to keep and re-run long after the 21 days are over.
Days 1 to 3 are private. No posting, no witnesses. Days 4 to 21 are out loud, one short take a day. Weekends are for reflecting, not posting.
How the cohort works
We all start on the same day and move through the same prompt on the same morning, so you’re never doing this alone in a document.
- A live kick-off call on day one to get everybody moving together. Recorded, so you’re fine if you can’t make it live.
- You publish on your own platform, not in a private group. Getting known happens in public, so that’s where the work goes. You tag #povchallenge so the rest of the cohort can find you and you can find them.
- A private room for everything else, where you debrief, admit what you nearly didn’t post, and cheer each other on. Each day asks you to read and reply to two other people, and that reciprocity is the part that makes it stick.
- I’m in there with you, reading and replying, for the whole 21 days.
It’s async and it works from any timezone. Apart from the kick-off there’s nothing you have to attend, so you can do each day whenever your morning happens. You keep lifetime access to everything I teach.
Who’s this for?
Yuu-huuu! I see you! Over there, being downright brilliant at five things and known for roughly… calculates… none of them. I’m here to help you evacuate the “nobody knows me” zone.
You, if:
- You have zillions of thoughts in your head but you’re terrified to publish them.
- You want to make a dang good living by using your STRENGTHS.
- You want to become a thought leader with spunk & pizazz!
Maybe not, if:
- You want to niche down and stay in one lane.
- You’re after viral hacks and overnight numbers.
- You’d rather a robot wrote your posts. (The robot has no vibes. The vibes are the point.)
Right. Enough from me.
If you accept this challenge, which I sincerely hope you do, by the end you *still* won’t have a niche (lol), but you WILL be known for your point of view. And that, my friend, is a g-o-l-d-m-i-n-e.
